The Bugatti Veyron is regarded as the most exquisite, powerful and among the most expensive cars in the world. The car is slated to be launched in India in mid 2010. This is because the car market in India is the second fastest growing markets in the world. The car is extremely luxurious and delivers performance similar to that delivered by a formula one car.

The car comes equipped with an 8L, 16-cylinder petrol engine. This engine can deliver phenomenal power of 987 bhp at 6000 rpm along with peak torque of 1250 Nm at 2200 rpm. This allows the car to reach 100 km/hr speed from zero in 2.5 seconds. The car can reach 300 km/hr from rest in 16.7 seconds and the top speed of the car is 408 km/hr.
The length of the car is 4462mm and its width is 1998mm while its height is 1159mm. The body of the car is made of aluminium and carbon fiber and it has carbon ceramic brakes along with titanium exhaust. The car also has 10 radiators that help in dissipating the heat of the engine. The car has 7 automatic gears and its kerb weight is 1888 kgs while its fuel tank capacity is 100 litres.

The mileage of the car is expected to be around 2 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is around 3.5 km/litre.

The interiors include leather seats and air condition feature together with dual zone climate control system. The car has several active and passive safety features and these include 8 airbags, anti lock brake system and electronic brake force distribution feature. The car has fog lamp, parking sensors and traction control as well.

The price of the car is around Rs 16 crores to Rs 18 crores and the car is available in a single design variation.
